2. John Whitney (Henry-1) was born about 1645 in prob England. He died before November 1720 in Norwalk, Fairfield, Ct.

married to Elizabeth Smith (daughter of Richard Smith and Bathsheba Rogers) on March 17, 1673/74 in Norwalk, Fairfield, Ct.
Elizabeth Smith was born about 1650 in Norwalk, Fairfield, Ct. She died after April 3, 1741 in Ct. John Whitney and Elizabeth Smith had the following children:

THIRD GENERATION

Richard Whitney (John-2, Henry-1) was born on April 18, 1687 in Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut. He died after 1734 in Greenfield, Connecticut.

Elizabeth Beeres) on April 7, 1709 in Fairfield, Fairfield, Ct.

Enos Whitney RW (John-4, Richard-3, John-2, Henry-1) was born on August 10, 1761 in Branford, Ct. He served in the military about 1776 in Revolutionary War. He died on October 8, 1846 in Gibson, PA. He was buried after October 8, 1846 in Union Hill Cemetary, Gibson, PA.
He was married to Eunice Avery (daughter of Abner Avery (Avered) and Eunice Hall) in 1787.
Eunice Avery was born on May 2, 1760 in Wallingford, Conn. She died on October 20, 1838 in Gibson, PA. She was buried in Union Hill Cemetary, Gibson, PA. Enos Whitney RW and Eunice Avery had the following children:

She was married to Leonard Tiffany (son of Captain John Zachariah Tiffany RW and Ruth Clapp) on February 22, 1819 in Mt Pleasant, PA. Leonard Tiffany was born on April 10, 1786 in Mt Pleasant, PA. He died in November 1880 in Susquehanna Co, Pa. He was buried in Union Hill Cemetary, Gibson, PA. Laura Whitney and Leonard Tiffany had the following children:
